A High Point manufacturing facility is looking to hire an experienced Tool & Die Maker to help support a high volume of current tooling projects. We have tool designers on staff, so this role does not require design work—just strong execution and machining ability.
Position Overview
The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible for machining, grinding, and fitting tooling components for fixtures and stamping dies. This role is essential to keeping projects on schedule and supporting daily production needs.
Key Responsibilities
Machine, turn, mill, and grind precision tooling components.
Fit and assemble parts for fixtures, stamping dies, and other tooling projects.
Operate manual and CNC equipment to produce parts to tight tolerances.
Read and follow detailed drawings, instructions, and project specifications.
Work closely with tool designers to execute required build steps.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality before assembly.
Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean workspace.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Tool & Die Maker or skilled Machinist required.
Strong proficiency with machining, turning, milling, and grinding processes.
Ability to assemble and fit components into complete tooling fixtures/dies.
Ability to read blueprints and precision drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
