Job Title: Packer
Location; Greensboro, NC
Shift: 1st 7am-3pm
Pay: $15.00
Responsible for packing, labeling, and preparing educational and laboratory products for shipment. Ensures items are correctly packaged, protected, and meet company quality standards while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pack products, kits, and materials according to work orders and shipping requirements.
- Verify item counts, product accuracy, and order completeness before packing.
- Label, seal, and prepare boxes or containers for shipment.
- Inspect products for damage or defects prior to packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Organize packed orders for shipping and staging areas.
- Follow detailed instructions and production guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work as required.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse, packing, or production experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Ability to follow written instructions and work orders.
- Basic counting and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer or scanner experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
