Job: Quality Assurance Lab Tech I
Pay: $17/HR
Summary: The Quality Assurance Lab Technician I provides assistance for the Quality Assurance laboratory with various Quality initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assists in obtaining supplies and calibrating equipment
- Analyzing production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics
- Investigates quality and production issues including customer complaints per supervisor requests
- Prepare samples for internal and external customers as requested
- Maintains quality production records in a timely manner
- Assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor in maintaining the ISO9001 responsibilities
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of shop, department, or employees
- Ensure adherence to appropriate government regulations and company procedures
- Any ad-hoc task or project assigned by management

Education/Experience:
- High School or GED desired
- Two (2) years’ Manufacturing or Lab experience, a plus
- Bilingual (Required)
- Demonstrated high level of computer experience
- Demonstrated good communication skills
- Valid Drivers’ License
Computer Skills:
- Ability and knowledge in Microsoft office applications (word, excel, and power point)
- Ability and knowledge in LIMS Software
