Graham Personnel Services is hiring for a Human Resources Manager for a client in Greensboro, NC
POSITION SUMMARY: Job duties encompass: employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, action, training, recruitment and safety. Recommends and develops policies and implements approved programs and policies designed to protect company and employee interests in accordance with company HR policies and governmental laws and regulations. Identifies and complies with legal requirements and government reporting regulations. Position may supervise human resource, safety and/or payroll staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations
- Define turnover causes and develop action items to reduce and maintain
- Assist managers and supervisors in creating and defining personal development opportunities for accurate and attainable performance goals
- Facilitate team training among supervisors/leads
- Support and Monitor - Employee Assistance Program
- Assess and manage employee involvement in EAP program
- Complete and maintain Affirmative Action Compliance program
- Coordinate all EEOC responses and actions
- Coordinate all ESC responses and actions
- Strategic planning for customized training curriculum
- Central change agent for organizational and policy changes
- Point of contact and administrator for all harassment and misconduct issues
- Ensure proper investigation and research for all disciplinary actions including internal and external compliance with all State and Federal Laws
- Full benefit administration
- Responsible for all recruitment and personnel needs
- Negotiate contracts for personnel vendors and canteen suppliers
- Administer all plant wide events (cookouts, United Way)
- Implement full tracking systems for: Turnover / Absenteeism
- Administer Leave programs both Federally regulated and company regulated
- Facilitate/oversee Safety Manager corrective actions of Insurance Carrier findings
- Succession planning for staff and management
- Maintain/Ensure Security Systems for facility (key fob)
- Administer salary weekend payroll
QUALIFICATIONS:
o 5+ years of Human Resource responsibilities BA or BS degree with HR Certification preferred
o Understanding of the People Aspects of the Business
o Understanding of the Laws as applicable to our Industry
o Ability to Facilitate Technical and Non-Technical Personnel
o Ability to Communicate to any level of Employee
o Understanding of Operational side of business
o Resource and Guidance to Plant Manager
o Ability to be objective, unbiased and consistent with policies and procedures
o Proactive in the area of employee development
o Understanding of Workers Compensation and Benefits
