Job descriptionSummary:The Quality Assurance Lab Technician I helps with the Quality Assurance laboratory with various Quality initiatives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in obtaining supplies and calibrating equipment.
Analyzing production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics.
Investigates quality and production issues including customer complaints per supervisor requests.
Prepare samples for internal and external customers as requested.
Maintains quality production records in a timely manner.
Assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor in maintaining the ISO9001 responsibilities.
Ensure adherence to appropriate government regulations and company procedures.
Any ad-hoc task or project assigned by management.
Education/Experience:
High School or GED
Two (2) years' Manufacturing or Lab experience, a plus.
Computer Skills:
Ability and knowledge in Microsoft office applications (word, excel, and power point).
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud in the plant.
Physical Demands:
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Regularly required to sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
Frequently required to walk and occasionally climb stairs.
Occasionally required to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist, scoop.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hourBenefits:
