Precision Inspector
Perform First Article and In-process inspection of machined components
Train operators in the proper methods of inspection, based on customer/blueprint requirements
Work with quality manager to develop corrective actions
Other duties assigned by Production Manager
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in an engineering field preferred
Two+ years in a Quality Inspection position in a machining environment
Ability to use micrometers, calipers, optical comparators required
Ability to correctly read and interpret blueprint requirements
Experience with precision tolerances (e.G.+/-.0001 diametrical tolerance) preferred
Documentation and reporting skills required
Use of CMM preferred
Experience with SPC preferred
Intermediate Excel skills preferred
Machining experience preferred
Experience with AS9102 as well as PPAP preferred
Understanding of GD&T required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Monday- Friday 8am -5pm
