Graham Personnel Services is assisting a client in Greensboro NC fill multiple Machine Operators on a temp to perm basis.
10 hours 5 am 3pm and 3pm 1am
10 hour shifts Monday - Saturday manufacturing/production experience is needed
SUMMARY:
Employee will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the automotive fabrication process. While individual will be assigned primarily to deskinning duties, they are in no way limited to that area. Cross training on other equipment will be required in this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required.
Understand ISO 9001 requirements / Olympic Quality Policy. Always follow work instructions and procedures as established through Olympic Quality Policy.
Minimize machine downtime through proper loading/unloading techniques.
Knowledge of CMS in areas of properly reporting production and scrap.
Utilize proper handling technique to minimize product damage.
Attend all safety training and meetings.
Maximize use of foam to obtain optimum yield.
Notify supervisor or manager of any safety or quality issues.
Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
Physically turn and roll chops during process.
Serve as a member of the inventory team when required.
Visually inspect chops for quality issues/physical damage prior to processing.
Operation of the crane as well as to control the conveyor while pouring.
Rolling buns and staging them as required.
Keep area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles, as they are appropriate.
Cross train in other positions as required.
Other duties may be assigned as needed by the employee s supervisor.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
