Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Stokesdale, NC
Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: 6:45am - 7:00pm OR 6:45pm- 7:00am 2-2-3
*Sit down AND Stand up Forklift experience required*
Job Overview:
The duties and responsibilities of a material handler/forklift operator will be to handle materials and parts into the facility, keeping inventory records, and dispensing the parts and materials to other workers in the company. Record materials and parts out of the system when they are transferred to the production area. handles, moves and stores various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse. Their main duties include loading and unloading different transport items, recording inventory statuses and making sure deliveries properly match purchase orders.
Job Duties:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
- Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas
- Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory utilizing scanners
- Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them
- Operate reach trucks, forklifts, clamps, and other equipment to move freight
- Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, etc.
- Perform and report cycle counts
