Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain all makes and models of material handling equipment.
Knowledge | Experience | Skills:
High School diploma or GED. Minimum of two years experience preferred in general maintenance, material handling equipment, and/or automotive repair. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, excel and outlook). Must be able to work with very little supervision and have excellent time management skills. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb. Knowledge of hydraulic lift systems. Must possess mechanical aptitude. Valid driver license required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide all general maintenance and repairs for forklifts, scissor lifts, articulating booms and other related material handling equipment in all Technimark Asheboro buildings. • Troubleshoot/repair equipment as assigned. • Install/transfer equipment. • Respond quickly to emergency situations, calling additional assistance as needed including nights, weekends and holidays. • Enter and maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) data, which develops maintenance history, plans and accounts for labor hours. • Follow all safety procedures in performing work, as well as company policies. • Diagnose and repair electrical failures. • Perform preventive maintenance schedule of equipment as required.
