Forklift Mechanic
Summary: Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain all makes and models of material handling equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
High School diploma or GED. Minimum of two years experience preferred in general maintenance, material handling equipment, and/or automotive repair. Basic computer skills including Microsoft OfficeMust be able to work with very little supervision ad have excellent time management skills. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb. Knowledge of hydraulic lift systems. Must posses mechanical aptitude. Valid driver license required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide all general maintenance and repairs for forklifts, scissor lifts, articulating booms, and other related material handling equipment in all buildings. Troubleshoot/repair equipment as assignedInstall/transfer equipmentRespond quickly to emergency situations, calling additional assistance as needed including nights, weekends, and holidays. Enter and maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) data, which develops maintenance history, plans and accounts for labor hours.Follow all safety procedures in performing work, as well as company policies. Diagnose and repair electrical failures. Perform preventative maintenance schedule of equipment as required.

Pay: $20+/hour, Based on Experience
