Shift: 1st 7 am to 3pm, 2nd 3pm to 11pm
Pay: $18.00
Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations by safely operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts. This position is responsible for moving, loading, unloading, staging, and organizing materials while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and a clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse or production area.
· Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
· Move pallets, raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to designated storage, staging, shipping, or production areas.
· Perform daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or needed repairs to a supervisor.
· Use RF scanners, paperwork, or warehouse systems to verify inventory, product locations, and shipment accuracy.
· Stack, wrap, label, and stage products according to company procedures.
· Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, traffic rules, and proper material handling procedures.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
· Assist with inventory counts, order picking, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
· Previous forklift operating experience required, including sit-down and stand-up forklift operation.
· Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
· Forklift certification preferred; must be able to complete company forklift training and certification if required.
· Ability to read and follow work instructions, shipping paperwork, labels, and safety procedures.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
· Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment with moving equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels.
· Must be able to follow all PPE and safety requirements.
