Local company in high Point is looking for a Fixer
SUMMARY This position performs various manual tasks necessary to repair various types of machinery and equipment. Experience Fixer for Muller and Comez flatbed crochet machines including maintenance, fixing and style changes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Analyze machine and equipment problems.
2. Repair machinery and clean parts.
3. Ability to read and/or understand blueprints, schematics and standard metric measurements.
4. Complete preventative maintenance list, work orders, and inventory of part.
5. Ensure repairs meet quality expectations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education; or up to 5 years related experience or training; or; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence . Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
Ability to add, and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10 s and 100 s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
