Role Purpose
To ensure efficient routing, scheduling, and coordination of inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods, supporting smooth factory operations and timely customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound (Raw Materials):
- Coordinate receipt of raw materials from suppliers.
- Verify delivery schedules against purchase orders.
- Route materials to appropriate storage or production areas.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming shipments.
- Outbound (Finished Goods):
- Plan and assign delivery routes for finished goods shipments.
- Ensure timely dispatch to customers/distributors.
- Optimize vehicle loading and routing for cost efficiency.
- Track and document outbound shipments.
- General Logistics Duties:
- Plan daily operations including drop-offs and pick-ups
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and production teams to resolve issues.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid bottlenecks.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in warehousing, routing, or dispatch operations.
- Knowledge of US logistics regulations and warehouse safety practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced factory environments.
