Our client is looking for a facilities maintenance technician. Day Shift - Environmentally Controlled Facility - Weekly Pay $26 to $28 per hour -Will pay more for strong electrical experienceJob Summary: The Facilities Technician will perform duties related to the maintenance repair and monitoring of physical plant and grounds. Essential Job Duties:
The maintenance and upkeep of the plant grounds and equipment.
Responsible for inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers and safety related equipment.
Perform or assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on Fire Pumps and Emergency Generators.
Assist in basic remodeling and construction projects.
Troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
Follow proper paperwork and documentation procedures.
Comply with safety and company policies and use protective equipment as required.
Job Qualifications: Minimum:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Four (4) years in all building maintenance trades
General custodial experience
Must be able to read blueprints
Valid North Carolina Driver’s License is required
Ability to interact with a wide variety of personnel in a professional manner
Ability to work independently, without supervision
Must be able to perform duties using high reach lifts
Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
