Job Description

As our Control Panel Fabrication Technician you will be expected to work closely with our Team Leader to prioritize tasks to meet quality standards . You will perform a detailed layout of electrical components using assembly drawing, make physical modifi cations of enclosures and interior panels based on layout instructions (drill & tap holes, use hole saws and knockouts). You will utilize the bill of materials to make sure the correct components are used in the panel, mount din rail, wire channel and components to back panels and enclosures, as well as maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication and provide feedback to Team Leader and Engineering of corrections as needed. This position works at our Burlington and Graham locations. The skills you need to succeed in this role will be to have the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs. have an understanding of Control Panel Layout Diagrams, measuring, basic math skills, the use of hand tools and power drills/saws. Must be able to Work with minimum supervision, maintain equipment and tools in a neat, clean and efficient work area.
