Join us in making a positive impact on transportation safety and environmental stewardship. Job Description:As an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing best practices, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within our organization. You will collaborate with various departments to develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and initiatives that align with our corporate objectives and values. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents.Provide guidance and support to management and employees on EHS-related matters, including training, hazard communication, and emergency response procedures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders on EHS-related inquiries, reporting, and compliance matters.Stay current on emerging EHS regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure our organization remains proactive and responsive to evolving requirements and expectations.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS management or a related role, preferably in Light Industrial industry.In-depth knowledge of relevant EHS regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on practical solutions and results.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive safety culture.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Benefits: Hourly wages start at $20 per hour.Benefits may vary based on temporary employment status. Graham Personnel Services and PPG Traffic Solutions are equal opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
