Emergency Vehicle Equipment Installer

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Emergency Vehicle Equipment Installers to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, testing, and removing 12-volt aftermarket components in first responder vehicles, transit, and commercial fleet vehicles. Equipment includes light bars, sirens, cameras, radios, laptops, antennas, partitions, and more. Training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt aftermarket components in emergency and fleet vehicles.
Work with equipment such as light bars, sirens, video cameras, radios, routers, and transport partitions.
Troubleshoot and identify electrical circuits, ensuring proper wiring and component functionality.
Perform work in various settings, including shop environments and outdoor/mobile locations.
Follow project specifications and ensure compliance with client requirements.
Maintain attention to detail while working on small components and confined spaces.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in vehicle wiring or 12-volt systems (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and circuits.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good hearing, color vision, and ability to work on small objects.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) Certification is a plus.
Experience as an automotive or marine technician is highly desirable.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
Knowledge of vehicle wiring and emergency lighting installations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Follow-up with supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
