Graham Personnel Services has an immediate need for a Document Control Coordinator for a manufacturing company in High Point. Direct Hire opportunitySalary: $42,0001st shift hours As a Document Control Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to manage the creation, approval, and distribution of various types of documents within an organization. This role is essential for ensuring that all relevant documents are properly organized, accessible, and up to date. This entails assisting in implementing and enforcing quality assurance procedures, policies, and guidelines to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR part 820, customer expectations, and any other regulatory or industry standards. Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Assist Quality Manager in maintaining a comprehensive Quality Management System that incorporates clear objectives, protocols, and metrics.

     
  2. Establish and enforce document control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

     
  3. Coordinate with various departments to gather and organize documents for review and approval.

     
  4. Assist Quality Manager in establishing and implementing quality control processes throughout the entire production area.

     
  5. Review and analyze documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.

     
  6. Maintain document version control to ensure that the latest and approved versions are readily available.

     
  7. Develop and conduct document control trainings for employees to ensure proper usage of the document management system.

     
  8. Maintain accurate records and logs of document revisions, approvals, and distributions.

     
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of document management strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

     
  10. Stay up to date with industry best practices for document control and recommend improvements accordingly.

     
  11. Collaborating with various teams and departments to enhance operational processes and assist in implementing corrective actions when necessary.

     
  12. Assist Quality Manager in investigating and resolving customer complaints or concerns related to product quality or service delivery, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

     
  13. Complete any additional tasks as assigned by Quality Manager.
 Qualifications
  1. Education
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, preferred
       
  2. Experience and Background
    • Previous experience in document control or a relevant role.
    • A good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA 21 CFR part 820, and ISO standards.
    • Proficient in using document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
       
  3. Skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to details.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
    • Understanding of quality management systems and their implications on document control.
    • Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
