Job Description

Job Title: Distribution Center Associate (1st Shift)
Hourly Rate: $21/hrYour Responsibilities:

Safety First: Follow all safety procedures while performing job duties.
Receive deliveries of finished products into stock.
Report any shortages or damages to inventory.
Place and/or transfer stock according to company procedures.
Participate in quarterly inventory.
Accurately pick orders.
Wrap and organize pallets according to transportation vendor specifications.
Stack and load pallets onto trailers (TL and LTL) and coordinate inbound and outbound transfer of goods with truck drivers.
Assist with other duties as needed within the Distribution Center.

Your Skills:

Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and pull car—must pass forklift certification test.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in basic math and reading.
Experience using an RF scanner.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
Ability to utilize a Warehouse Management System (such as Navision).
Must be a team player with a collaborative mindset.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with key decision-makers at all levels.

Your Experience:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a distribution center, including picking, packing, receiving, and forklift operations.
High School Diploma or GED required.
