Direct Hire Recruiter
Status: Full time, Direct Hire
Salary: $60-$70K + commission
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Job Summary:
With reasonable accommodation if required, recruit, market and effectively place top talent in direct hire positions within our Professional, Healthcare, and Light Industrial Divisions in accordance with applicable laws/regulations and company policy. Establish, maintain, and expand proactive relationships with clients, candidates, and internal staff.
Duties:
- Maintain the highest level of integrity and work to ensure safety of candidates, employees and clients.
- Engage in full lifecycle recruiting identify and evaluate qualified candidates, ensure compliance with company directives and legal requirements, presenting candidate(s) to the client and facilitating the negotiation and offer process.
- Utilize recruiting tools including applicant tracking systems, social media, job boards, referrals/networking and other recruiting methodologies
- Recruit and interview new applicants and update existing applicants for the purpose of matching candidate qualifications with client needs.
- Attend meetings with clients, candidates, business development consultants, and appropriate seminars/training/events as needed, including periodic after-hours networking events.
- Respond and follow up on inquiries with both clients and applicants by email, telephone, mail, or in-person visits in a timely manner.
- Manage and update relevant data on all open and filled orders in applicant tracking system.
- Maintain necessary documentation on open and filled orders according to standard operating procedures.
- Advise senior management on recruiting strategy and trends
- Meet and/or exceed established recruiting goals and be assist with the goal-setting process
- Continue professional development activities/maintain professional certifications.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership
Skills/Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree and 3-4 years’ experience, or an appropriate combination of education and experience
- Previous experience recruiting in exempt salaried personnel in the fields of management, accounting, engineering and other professional/technical disciplines.
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality at all times.
- Utilize independent judgement to plan, prioritize and execute on a timely basis
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills (ability to “cold call” potential candidates)
- Possess high level of proficiency with applicant tracking systems/enterprise software (Staff Suite, Bullhorn, Avionte, TempWorks, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office
- Proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as internet usage and navigation.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, keyboard and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear.
- Work will be performed in an office setting.
