Mechanical Engineer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Interpret customer automation requests and develop both conceptual and detailed designs.
• Convert conceptual designs into complete engineered solutions.
• Design machine structures and utilize analysis tools to verify integrity and performance.
• Select appropriate mechanical drive components, including motors, belts, shafts, and more.
• Generate mechanical prints for machine and component fabrication.
• Capture and document all changes and modifications throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualification Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Skilled in 2D CAD generation and 3D solid modeling.
• Experience detailing machined, sheet metal, and 3D printed components.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
• Capable of shifting priorities and multitasking as needed.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
