This role is responsible for managing day-to-day executive support, coordinating office activities, and serving as a key liaison across the organization.
Responsibilities:
ERP & Database Management
• Root Cause Analysis: Serve as the primary lead for the Intuitive ERP system, performing deep-dive troubleshooting into database discrepancies and system bottlenecks.
• Database Administration: Perform regular SQL Server maintenance, including data normalization, index defragmentation, and query optimization to ensure peak performance.
• Business Intelligence: Develop custom reports and data visualizations to provide actionable analytics for department heads.
• DevOps Liaison: Partner with off-site developers to design, test in a sandbox environment, and deploy ERP enhancements and VB.NET integrations.
Infrastructure & Systems
• Manage on-premises Active Directory and Cloud-based Microsoft Exchange.
• Administer multiple physical and virtual servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Maintain a robust network including managed switches, Ubiquiti access points, firewalls, and a VOIP phone server.
• Own and continuously improve the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for all critical infrastructure.
Operations & Specialized Software
• Oversee the technical side of Inventory Control, including cycle counts, year-end physical inventory, and resolving recurring discrepancies.
• Manage licensing and deployment for specialized manufacturing software (Solidworks, Rhino, Alphacam, 2020 Suite, etc.).
• Act as the primary point of contact for IT vendors; manage the departmental budget and procurement for all hardware and material needs.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Expertise:
o Advanced SQL: Deep experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, and complex table architecture.
o Programming: Strong understanding of software development logic; VB.NET experience is highly preferred.
o Networking: Proven ability to manage firewalls, VLANs, and wireless mesh networks.
• Manufacturing Experience: 3+ years experience with ERP/MRP systems (Intuitive ERP preferred).
• Leadership: Ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and business outcomes.
• Physical/Logistical: Ability to provide hands-on support for workstations, printers, and scanners across the facility.
