Job Description

This position is responsible for keeping facilities operational by performing a wide range of repair tasks. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of conduct set forth by the Company and staying current on all new OSHA regulations and safety trends.

 •Ensure safe operation of plant equipment both electrically and mechanically by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
 •Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
 •Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical and electrical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring, and testing instruments.
 •Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, EPA, etc.)
 •Oversee the applications for and receipt of necessary permits.
 •Other tasks as assigned.
 •Overtime may be required.
