We are partnering with a well-established, growing manufacturing organization in the Triad area seeking a hands-on Controller / Senior Accounting Manager to lead the accounting and finance function. This role reports directly to executive leadership and offers high visibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly P&L and balance sheet statements
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Perform cost analysis and support operational decision-making
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and internal controls
- Partner with operations, sales, and purchasing on inventory, costing, and pricing
- Coordinate with external auditors and CPA firms
- Supervise and develop a small accounting team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or inventory-driven environment
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting and month-end close
- Strong Excel skills; ERP experience required
Preferred:
- Cost accounting or inventory accounting experience
- Experience supporting international reporting structures
- Background in food or consumer goods manufacturing
