Our Archdale manufacturing client is growing and adding to their team! Due to growth, they have multiple DIRECT HIRE career opportunities for Customer Service Tech (Industrial Equipment) They are in a niche industrial manufacturing industry of machinery keeping our land resources viable with recyclable technologies! Our client offers pay from 60k to 70k depending on skills and experience and great benefits including 100% paid premium for individual, dental vision, 401k, life and more! Communicate and deliver superior customer service daily and troubleshoot by phone and e-mail with customers providing prompt, same day responses
Understand customer needs and offer timely solutions
Complete required documentation for all customer communications, maintain time sheets and service call logs as well as handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner, and follow-up to ensure resolution.
Schedule and dispatch Field Service Technicians for customer on-site repairs, start-ups, & maintenance & work cross functionally with teams to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
Recommend Preventive Maintenance (PM) contracts to customers and process warranty orders, track customer Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) and work with suppliers for warranty reimbursement.
Maintain financial accounts, process credits and customer adjustments within communication procedures, guidelines.
Communicate and prioritize responsibilities according to customer assistance timelines
Occasional travel to customer sites
Assist with inventory twice a year and as needed
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree preferred within engineering fields/manufacturing or equivalent years of experience within mechanical/electrical technical service and support for industrial equipment
Experience working with customer specifications and understanding of equipment working with PLC, control voltage wiring, VFD’s and high voltage (480V,575V), navigate, read, add, upload and install PLC programs
Strong with client relationship building and service from a technical aspect; responsive to customer needs and ensure delivery of technical service and resolution
Welding and fabrication experience desired and ability to use grinders, mag drills, torches, power tools; Knowledgeable the replacement of bearings, shafts, rotors, welding, grinding, cutting, installation of conveyor belts, drive belts, gearbox removal/installation
Mechanical troubleshooting and problem analysis
Experienced in using electrical test equipment and understanding of electrical schematics, and hydraulics
Knowledgeable computer and technical skills for industrial equipment such as conveyors, blowers, ductwork, box dumpers, etc
Excellent verbal/written and technical communication skills
Organized, attention to detail and great time management skills
Self-motivated, friendly demeanor and a team player
