Contract Sales Manager

Our international client in the High Point area is rapidly expanding and a leader in the luxury home and furnishing lines. They have an immediate Direct Hire career opportunity for a Contract Sales Manager for their studio contract/trade area. Ideal candidate is experienced working with manufactured high end line products and contractual sales. They offer pay up to $75k based on skills and experience great benefits, a close collaborative friendly team and path for career advancement within a professional and positive organization!




Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing, retaining and building client accounts via value added products and service or upselling

Grown and expand client commercial accounts and prospect for new client opportunities

Travel to US client sites and trade shows to strengthen relationships and forge success of contract, trade and negotiations

Interact with clients, handle sales transactions from start to finish, and maintain and build strong customer relationships. Bring your knowledge in high end line furnishings to contribute to sales strategies including presenting/discussing product features, aesthetics and value of lines to create interest and desire among buyers while ensuring exceptional levels of customer service to distinguish company niche from other companies and products

Research and understand local furnishing markets to keep up with trends and competition and also to identify new client lists, collectors, interior designers, celebrities and corporate clients while building strong and trusting relationships in sales

Update and communicate with clients to guarantee full satisfaction and source new opportunities for potential sales or collaborations and referrals

Work closely with Marketing and Social Media teams to expand market share and position company as the go to destination for luxury designers and clients that expect the best in high end furnishings and accessories




Ideal Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Interior Design or business related field and 2-5years experience in a sales role within luxury furnishings and a track record of sales success

Must have experience within sales and contractual sales within a high end product industry. Furniture is highly desired!

MUST be able to travel up to 50%

Enthusiasm and drive to increase sales and develop company as go to source for furniture/accessory lines

Strong professional verbal and written communication skills and history of expanding businesses while building customer relationships.

Works collaboratively, respectfully with internal and external teams and customers and delivers a professional demeanor and have great work ethic

MS Office and ability to learn proprietary software for industry; CRM a must

Passion for inside sales, high end furniture/accessory lines and developing strong customer relationships and networking
