Job Description:
The Warehouse Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. This role supports daily operations by ensuring work areas, equipment, and common spaces are kept in compliance with company safety and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
- Remove debris, pallets, and waste materials from production and storage areas
- Support general housekeeping practices aligned with 5S/6S standards
- Clean machinery and equipment as needed to ensure safe operation
- Dispose of trash, cardboard, and other materials in designated areas
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report shortages
- Assist with organizing inventory areas to maintain a safe and efficient workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Support additional warehouse or facility tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
-Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
