Job Description

Graham Personnel Services is seeking a Campus Manager for a growing Church in the Triad! 
Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)Salary: $50,000
Church Campus Manager is responsible for church buildings and grounds along with safety and security of the campus. This role is also responsible for the hospitality function of the church. The Campus Manager will ensure that facilities are well- maintained, safe and operational, use of the church’s facilities are properly organized and will have oversight of all hospitality-related functions of the church including food service.Responsibilities include:
  1. Oversight of routine checks, repairs, cleaning and preventive maintenance.
  2. Ensure proper and organized space utilization that includes coordination and use of church facilities for internal/external meetings, events and worship services (ex: weddings, funerals, meetings, etc.). This responsibility includes appropriate signage.
  3. Oversee contracts and relationships with outside vendors, including landscapers, janitorial service, equipment repair professionals and others.
  4. Implement and maintain safety procedures and protocols to protect congregants, staff and church property (including Safe Sanctuary).
  5. Manage vehicle fleet including approved driver lists for church-owned vehicles: usage logs, key returns, proper maintenance/fueling of vehicles, etc.
  6. Responsible for all activities related to church columbarium including recordkeeping, maintenance, scheduling, etc.
  7. Responsible for telephone system including hardware, systems, equipment maintenance, service and repair.
  8. Maintain certificates of liability for all vendors and groups using facilities.
  9. Obtain contract agreements from outside groups for usage of facilities.
  10. Ensure the church facilities comply with local, state and federal regulations, including building codes, fire safety and ADA requirements.
  11. Develop and implement emergency plans including evacuation procedures and disaster response plans.
  12. Develop and manage the facilities and hospitality budgets ensuring costs are kept within funds allocated and approved by the Finance Committee.
  13. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all areas of responsibility and communicate as appropriate.
  14. Plan and oversee any construction, remodeling or renovation projects.
  15. Ensure all equipment (ex: AV/sound systems, HVAC, etc.) are functioning correctly and are serviced regularly.
  16. Supervise Facility Manager with responsibility for staff and volunteers.
  17. Supervise Kitchen Manager with responsibility for food service involving staff and volunteers. Food service duties also include:
    1. Assist Kitchen Manager with planning various menus.
    2. Oversight of food purchases/inventory and procurement of linens, kitchen equipment, etc.
    3. Reconciliation and approval of associated invoices
  18. Organize the scheduling, training and recruitment of volunteers to support facilities and hospitality ministries of the church.
  19. Assist team with various seasonal/cyclical initiatives as needed to include but not limited to:
    1. Love Feast preparation
    2. Proofreading congregational notices
    3. Oversight of Christmas decorations
  20. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
  1. Prefer two-year hospitality degree
  2. High School graduate
Essential Skills and Experience:
  1. Strong knowledge of facilities management requirements
  2. Hospitality/kitchen management experience
  3. Microsoft Outlook experience
  4. Attention to detail and time management skills
  5. Management experience
  6. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
  7. Self-starter
