Our established and growing client in the vehicle/automotive industry and a leader in design technology has a Direct Hire career opportunity for an Integration Engineer is looking for talented mechanical/mechanical engineers experienced in vehicle/automotive framework/chassis systems and design. They offer pay up to $95k depending on skills and experience, excellent benefits and room for career advancement and development with a great team! Summary of Responsibilities:
Engineering integration of all custom design and systems for chassis/framework to produce high performing, safe and strong products
Communicate and work with departmental members in regard to frame design, and development of product
Integration engineering optimization of camera systems, aftermarket components, communication systems and vehicle operator assistance systems
Documentation of design specifications and changes, test outcomes and update to project/product forward movement
Ability to certify all safety compliances are met within automotive regulatory standards and ensure all product certification qualifications are met
Integrate systems and design with OEM products
Identify and implement any framework integration changes necessary for design and determine corrective actions to be taken for resolution
Ability to integrate engineering knowledge to design, enhance automotive systems and chassis engineering resulting in superior products
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with automotive system integration engineering with auto framework/chassis/steering/brakes/automotive components. Must have experience working within manufacturing
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering concentrations
Experienced working with OEM/aftermarket
Knowledge of all vehicle systems industry safety standards and compliance
Strong proficiency with CAD-SolidWorks, Inventor or SolidEdge and MS Office systems
Ability to work with CAD software to enhance design/modeling of automotive framework components
Enthusiastic and loyal individual committed to technology and delivering superior quality and inventive design to automotive products and vehicle systems
Enjoys working collaborative with teams and strong verbal/written communication skills and problem solving abilities
