Job Description
Operations Specialist Our client is an independent RIA that offers wealth management services to High Net Worth individuals. More specifically, they provide financial planning and portfolio management to over 800 clients which encompasses more than $2.7 billion AUM. They manage portfolios “in-house” primarily through individual securities. We are seeking an experienced back-office specialist to join our growing team. This role will entail several operational functions:
New client onboarding
Account opening and asset transfer paperwork
Liaison with back-office support and client to resolve issues
Multi-point checklist that spans several software tools (CRM, reporting, trading, etc.)
Three custodial platforms with unique paperwork requirements
Administrative duties
Mailing quarterly reports
Document filing
Incoming client phone calls
Client service
Cashiering requests
Service tasks (address change, etc.)
Operations/Compliance support
Assist Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Operations in their duties
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience in similar industry (financial, insurance, real estate)
Prior Mortgage processing
Familiarity with CRM software, DocuSign
Familiarity with basic types of financial accounts, features, etc.
