Job Description
Assembler Graham Personnel Services is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembler to join our production team. The Assembler plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, responsible for assembling various components to create the final product. This position requires a high level of precision and attention to detail to ensure the quality and functionality of our products. Key Responsibilities:- Assembly: Assemble components and subassemblies following detailed instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Material Handling: Safely handle and transport materials, components, and finished products within the production area.
- Tool and Equipment Operation: Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assembly tasks.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production, including the quantity of products assembled and any issues encountered.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address assembly issues or discrepancies during the manufacturing process.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lifting and moving materials, components, and products, sometimes in excess of 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for intricate assembly tasks.
