POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a high-profile position that facilitates effective accounts receivable management for a growing company across multiple business units. Position interacts with various levels of Management within the organization. 
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  1. Manage and guide a team of AR Specialists. Oversee all aspects of Accounts Receivable.
  2. Ensure all AR activities comply with regulations and company policies.
  3. Ensure timely payments, manage collections and customer disputes, and resolve payment issues. 
  4. Match payments to invoices.
  5. Prepare reports for accounts receivable reporting for month/quarter/year end. 
  6. Support audits.
  7. Identify areas for improvement in AR processes and implement solutions.
  8. Collaborate with operations teams to keep communication open. 
  9. Any other job-related duties as may be assigned.
 
 
EDUCATION:
This position requires a 5+ years in accounts receivable.  Advanced education a plus.   Degree in Acccounting or Finance a plus.
 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIAL SKILLS:
  1. Background in the Construction industry preferred, specifically in the area of billing and collections.
  2. Experience in leading and managing a team.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with COINS a plus.
  4. Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Products. 
  5. Require intermediate Excel skill level; working knowledge of Pivot Tables, Sum Functions, and V/X look ups.
  6. Ability to analyze complex issues. Problem solve and implement effective solutions.
  7. Ability to work in fast paced, high volume work environment and pivot workload as needed and required.
  8. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  9. Organization skills, time management, and attention to detail is required.
  10. Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures and standards.
