Accounts Receivable Coordinator

SUMMARY: Provides management of activities of the accounts receivable function, including investigations of amount due for goods including freight and other charges, to ensure company profitability while following up to ensure prompt payments
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review orders entered and “no charge” report ensuring accurate pricing
• Prepare, approve and print invoices verifying unit price, packing list accuracy, unit quantity calculation, applying shipping/freight and other charges
• Gather information to produce and send daily invoice recap
• Send out monthly commission invoices to 3rd parties
• Prepare, approve and print credit memos verifying item codes, master account numbers, unit price, unit quantity and reason codes
• Gather information to produce and send credit recap report
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Ensure all activities are conducted safely and within safety guidelines/procedures
• Perform other duties assigned by Accounting Manager and or Controller
• Calculate monthly sales commissions to ensure alignment with company sales commission plan
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates degree required in Accounting or Business, or equivalent experience
• 3 or more years’ experience with knowledge of accounting and general ledger account structure
• Exhibit high level of professionalism and tact in fast paced environment
• Work accurately under pressure
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficient on Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; ability to learn & use company's computer systems
• Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work shift
• Ability to climb stairs consistently
• Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions
• Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws

• Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information
• Must exhibit very detailed informational accuracy
• Sedentary work: exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but does require walking or standing occasionally.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Manufacturing Environment (Hot in summer and cool in winter)
• Usual office working conditions; normal office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday; additional hours will be necessary at times
• Occasional weekend work may be required
Pay: 45k/year
