Graham Personnel Services is proud to partner with a global leader in consumer goods manufacturing to recruit an Accounting Manager for their Danville, VA facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in financial analysis, internal controls, audit management, and continuous improvement, with strong technical skills in SAP and Excel.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the execution of internal controls and J-SOX implementation to strengthen financial reporting accuracy and compliance
- Manage Key Account Reconciliations (KAR), perform balance sheet analysis, and support Market Free Cash Flow (MFCF) planning and forecasting
- Act as project manager for internal audits—coordinating requests, reviewing findings, and ensuring timely implementation of audit recommendations
- Prepare and submit statutory financial reports to multiple government agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
- Monitor and analyze GR/IR accounts in SAP to prevent accumulation of unreconciled balances
- Oversee fixed asset and inventory reconciliation, identifying discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution
- Conduct financial and operational analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support other accounting and reporting projects as assigned
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or multinational consumer goods environment
- Proven experience with internal controls and financial compliance implementation
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including Market Free Cash Flow (MFCF) analysis
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication
