Graham Personnel Services is servicing a textile company in Greensboro, NC. We are in need of a 2nd shift maintenance tech. This is an entry level maintenance position. Pay is between $20-22hr. The hours are 3pm-11:00pm
Summary:Title: Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift Location: Greensboro Plant We are looking for dependable, honest and hardworking individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a positive attitude, solid work ethic and enjoys working with others to produce a quality product. Skillset:
Ability to do the following:
Work safely
Use and follow lock-out practices
Keep work area safe, neat and clean
Understand and use barriers to keep work areas safe
Assist in major equipment repair
Execute work orders and fill out as required. Enter completed task (non-work order) on log sheets
Wear required personal protective equipment for all job tasks
Perform other work as requested by supervisor or manager
Effectively communicate job status to involved parties
Install, clean, repair, replace, assemble and lubricate mechanical equipment such as fans, conveyors, elevators, dock boards, pumps, mechanical doors, compressors, tanks, finishing equipment, tenter frames and ovens
Use hand tools and power tools
Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience
Keep accurate spare part usage; document parts consumed
Safely operate a forklift
Safely operator a scissor lift
Safely use a ladder
While working overhead, ensure everything below is protected
Understand and use barriers to keep work areas safe
Must work well with others
Available to work 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm Monday - Friday; overtime as needed
