Production Supervisor - Direct Hire - 1st and 2nd shifts available The Production Supervisor is to oversee our production operations. You’ll guarantee that manufacturing remains smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations.Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for oversight of attendance, performance management, discipline, ensuring employees receive training, and employee compliance with safety and other policies
Evaluates methods of production and implements direction to ensure safety, efficiency, and product integrity
Evaluates processes, issues, problems and makes recommendations on areas of improvement and implementation of corrective actions Maintains communication with scheduling team to align schedule with production resources, and other groups regarding production schedule Observes process flows, identifying wasteful activities, and driving process improvements Ensures accountability for accurate documentation to meet customer and regulatory requirements Maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment Performs other work-related duties as assigned Supervises anywhere from 20-30 people while educating and enforcing the rules and regulations according to standards Manages the teams time and attendance in accordance to our PTO and attendance policies Other duties as assigned Experience
Previous experience in leadership or supervisory role required
Previous experience of manufacturing process and principles of Lean Manufacturing, preferred
Ability to set and establish priorities and multi-task
Strong organizational skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience reading and understanding manufacturing procedures
Basic math skills and proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
