Our established and growing client in the vehicle/automotive industry and a leader in design technology has a Direct Hire career opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer. Our client looks to a talented Mechanical Engineer experienced with hands on metal manufacturing design. (experience within automotive/manufacturing desired) They offer pay up to $85k depending on skills and experience, excellent benefits and room for career advancement and development with a great team! Responsibilities:
Use CAD to design, validate components, tooling and fixturing to meet regulatory and quality regulation standards
Provide technical support to teams including sales, service and operations
Define system and product capabilities via feasibility/reliability testing and verification of validation cycles
Applying engineering analysis to resolve drawing inaccuracies
Contribute and assist with ERP implementation via correct product BOM management/systems integration
Development of engineering packages for multiple product lines and create technical documentation for operational manuals, operational procedures and technical support
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as mechanical engineer within related automotive/vehicle manufacturing and vehicle systems
Experience with equipment/machine design of industrial manufactured equipment and sheet metal fabrication. Experienced in design of parts and fixtures
Ability to apply lean manufacturing knowledge, principles, methodologies
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Strong proficiency with SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Autodesk Inventor and MS Office
Brings strong team collaboration and a passion for engineering within vehicle and vehicle systems manufacturing industry
