The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with management experience who thrives on coaching teams, exceeding sales goals, and creating a customer-focused culture. While prior retail management experience is preferred, this role could also be a strong fit for a recent graduate with 1–2 years of leadership or management experience who is ready to take the next step into a full-scale management role. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily retail store operations, including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, and floor management
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed individual and store sales targets
Foster a positive, professional, and results-driven work culture
Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with dealership goals and seasonal trends
Partner with marketing to support monthly promotions, in-store events, and product launches
Monitor sales performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and evaluate full-time and part-time employees
Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing sales training
Establish, track, and report monthly KPIs to leadership
Ensure team adherence to company policies, procedures, and brand standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
Collaborate with inventory management to monitor shrinkage, losses, and stock levels
Ensure proper merchandising, visual presentation, and showroom standards
Implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and profitability
Review profit and loss (P&L) performance with senior leadership and identify growth opportunities
Execute high-energy outreach efforts, meeting daily contact goals (10–20) to drive appointments and repeat business
Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in retail store management (powersports, automotive, or specialty retail preferred)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills
Ability to balance merchandising presentation with data-driven decision-making
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Experience reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets
Proficiency with retail POS systems, CRM software, and basic business tools
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset
Passion for powersports and enthusiasm for customer engagement preferred
Compensation & Schedule
- Starting salary: $45,000 annually (based on experience)
- Performance bonus: 5% of total monthly gross profit, paid monthly with no cap
- Work schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (40 hours per week)
- Holidays: Closed on major holidays, including 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc. — a “retail schedule with banking holidays”
