We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality of our inbound products. You will be responsible for ensuring that all apparel meets specific guidelines, including thread count, seams, button count, and overall construction standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for inbound products.
Create quality function including retail compliance, vendor compliance, compliance laws
Inspect and evaluate apparel for compliance with established guidelines, including thread count, seams, button count, and overall construction quality.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Conduct regular audits of inbound shipments and maintain detailed records of inspection results.
Work closely with the production and purchasing teams to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Train and mentor quality assurance staff on best practices and quality control techniques.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in the apparel industry.
In-depth knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies for apparel.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects and inconsistencies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in using quality assurance software and tools.
