As a Project Engineer, the mission is to manage the development of products, guaranteeing the fulfillment of technical specifications and testing both in-house and at customer site in combination with the commercial team. Additionally, the jobholder will be responsible for cost optimization, standardization of components and proposals of continuous improvement actions for the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and synthesize customer specifications and conceptualize the project to
meet all project requirements.
- Provide project instructions to the technical designer for the design of the product
- Definition of BOM. Responsible for cost optimization, standardizing components. Provide cost calculation to technical salesman.
- Presenting initial 3D to customers and validation to continue with
prototype manufacturing and documentation.
- Prototype testing in-house and at customer facilities. Review of
documentation and data review in SAP.
- Presenting final project to customers, ensuring approval and closure.
- Presenting improvements to existing products with or without customer request.
- Responsible for any malfunction or issue related to a product
developed as Project Manager
Studies:
- Engineering specialized in mechanics or electric
Experience:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering
- Proven experience in Project Engineering or a related field
- Ability and interest to work with your hands as a test engineer for developed HVAC systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, SAP, Sales Force is highly desirable.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
