Job Description

GPS Professional Recruiter  
Reports to:  Division Manager 

Status: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $40,000 - $50,000 + commission

 
 Job Summary:With reasonable accommodation if required, and under minimal supervision will develop and maintain a talent database of qualified candidates for placement within the professional division. Recruit for temporary assignments, temporary to direct hire, recurring position as well as uncommon (”one off”) direct hire positions. Establish and grow relationships with existing and new clients.Duties:
  1. Recruit and interview new applicants and update existing applicants for the purpose of matching candidate qualifications with client needs
  2. Work closely with the other members of the recruiting team, as well as the sales team, to place qualified candidates with clients in a timely manner.
  3. Develop and maintain positive, cooperative relationships with clients and candidates. Proactively market prospective candidates with existing clients
  4. Interact with clients on a daily basis (telephone or in-person) to take job orders, handle employee check-ins, etc. 
  5. Attend meetings with clients, candidates, business development consultants, as well as seminars and training, including occasional after hours networking events.
  6. Respond and follow up on inquiries with both clients and applicants by email, telephone, mail, or in-person visits in a timely manner
  7. Complete on-boarding process (application, background check, drug screening, I-9, tax forms, WOTC, etc.)
  8. Manage and update relevant data on all open and filled orders in shared database. Maintain necessary documentation on open and filled orders according to standard operating procedures
  9. Monitor client activities to anticipate specialty placement needs of clients
  10. Work closely with clients in evaluating placed candidates and oversee any changes which may be necessary in order to meet the client needs
  11. Meet and/or exceed established goals for production of gross margin dollars. Proactively engage with leadership to meet set goals and continue to develop professionally within GPS.
  12. Other duties as assigned by leadership
Skills:
  1. Ability to recruit in a fast-paced environment while meeting all company and legal compliance requirements
  2. Proficient in social media (Facebook, LinkedIn) and Internet/job board recruiting
  3. Exceptional telephone and interpersonal skills including interfacing with a variety of personalities and backgrounds
  4. Proficient in utilizing MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  5. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking System software (e.g. Avionte, TempWorks, Bullhotn, etc.)
  6. Strong time management and organizational abilities
  Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ recruiting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Demonstrated recruiting ability,
  3. Maintains the highest degree of integrity, ethical conduct and honesty at all times
 Physical Demands/Work Environment:
  1. While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, keyboard and to reach with hands and arms.   The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  2. Work will be performed in an office setting.
