Job Description

Output
  1. Safety Committee meetings action plan
  2. EHS Training and onboarding completion
  3. Audits / Assessments completion
  4. MOS boards updated
 Routine Activities
  1. Conduct new Hire Training
  2. Conduct EHS Training, Audits / Assessments for JSA, LOTO, PPE and other safety requirements
  3. Safety Committees – Organize and run the committee meetings
  4. Support in the approval of work permits to employees and contractors
  5. Ensure compliance with environmental permits (daily, weekly, monthly permit inspection activities)
  6. Manage the inspections and maintenance to emergency and fire protection equipment (hoses, fire extinguishers, spill kits, etc.)
  7. Help Exceed site goal, near misses/hazard reports by administering the program. 
  8. Assist with 5S documentation and audits
  9. Conduct Emergency Drills
  10. Update Site communication boards daily / Weekly / monthly
Ad hoc Activities
  1. Support PSSRs and MOCs
  2. Incident reporting – Enter data into database, liaise with corporate EHS, lead investigations and root cause analysis.
Overarching Activities
  1. Acts with safety; and actively look for risk reduction opportunities
  2. Shop floor presence and engagement
Requirements
  1. Minimum education Associates Degree 
Operations experience/ EHS experience required.
